Chinese Character

The Chinese character is one of the oldest writing systems in the world, it was created in the 14th century BC. Although it has changed through thousands of years, we still use it in our daily life. To recognize Chinese characters is essential and helpful if you want to master Chinese. Our Chinese character course helps students understand, appreciate and remember Chinese characters. 
 

Chinese Cuisine

Are you ready to make your own Chinese Cuisine? The Chinese cuisine course will help you to get your wish. It will help you recognize the art of Chinese cuisine. As we all know, the Chinese cuisine, especially the Hangzhou style, tastes fresh and crisp, varying with the change of season. We will provide different food courses according to the season. Such as, Hongshao rou(Braised pork), wonton, dumpling, Tangcu liji (Sweet and sour pork), steamed fish and some other home cooked meals. 
 

Chinese Kung Fu
 
The Chinese word for "Kung Fu" is "Wu Shu", and it encompasses all styles of Chinese Kung Fu. Including Shaolin fist, Nan quan, Bagua, Xingyi quan, Nunchakus, three-section cudgel and ect. KungFu is popular among foreigners. This course will help you appreciate the Kung Fu culture. 
 

Chinese Taichi

Taichi, in Chinese is Taiji, is one of the internal styles of Chinese martial arts. 'Taichi' means two opposite yet complementary forces (Yin and Yang) as being the foundation of creation. Taichi is based on the principle of softness overcoming hardness. Behind Tai Chi's soft, graceful and growing movements lies its hidden strength and great physical and mental control. Tai Chi provides a unique self-defense that is acclaimed for its contributions to health, fitness and longevity. So why not join us, to see the charm of Taiji? 
 

Chinese Custom

If you come to China, you will find China is full of festivals and customs. Until now, a lot of traditional customs are still preserved in China. As we all know, China has been a multi-culture society for thousands of years. China has 56 recognized ethnic groups. The ethnic Chinese, known as the Han Chinese, compose 93 percent of the population. Most of the 55 other ethnic groups have different languages and their own customs. So, it’s interesting to learn the literature, festival and art of these minorities if you want to understand Chinese culture. Our course will take you into a fantastic China. 
 

Calligraphy and painting

Chinese calligraphy and painting are traditional art with a history over 2000 years. To practice these needs no complex tools, but just a brush pen and painting paper. Our course will give you not only the basic skills of calligraphy and painting, but also the culture and history of Chinese art.

Five important things of tea ceremony are tea leaves, tea water, fire, tea set and the environment. Our tea ceremony course will involve you in an exotic culture experience. Introduction of the Chinese tea culture, the methods of drinking and serving will be taught in our course.

Chinese people like to paste Paper-cut at home when the festivals comes. It express the best wishes for life. Paper-cut is one of the traditional handcraft, simple and flexible, full of creativity. The Paper-cut course offers unforgettable experiences and joy.  


Golden Week Chinese Lesson

Each “Golden Week Chinese Lesson”, lasts 7-10 days, is an unique course for the people who have their trip in Hangzhou. You can experience basic language lessons in the a.m, and visit tour sight in the p.m. Also, in the a.m course, you will learn local culture and introduction of each tour sight. And one day travel will bring you to one another ancient city around Hangzhou, for example, Wuzhen, Xitang, Shaoxing and etc.
