General Conditions
Registration
*Registration in the school implies the acceptance of the general conditions listed here.
*Registration as early as possible is appreciated, as this will give us enough time to arrange everything for your reservation. You will also need time for your visa application. However, registration at the last moment is possible, depending on availability.
Payment
*After you send us the application form for registration, you need to send us a deposit of RMB1000 to maintain the booking. Full payment less the deposit must be made in RMB before the program starts or on the first day of your program in our office.
*Deposit and full payment can be made by:
--Bank Wire Transfer (The applicant is responsible for bank charges)
--Cash or Travellers Cheque at the School Office
Refund Policy
*If cancellation is made 2 weeks or more before the program starts, you will be refunded the full amount less the deposit. The deposit can be used for a course in the following two years.
*If cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before the program starts, you are required to pay two-week tuition and accommodation fees. This amount of money can be used for a course in the following two years.
*Once the program has started, no refund is possible for cancellation.
Chinese Courses
*The schedule of group classes is fixed. If students cannot attend their classes on schedule, MANDA will not arrange for a make-up class.
*The minimum age for students at our school is 18 years. Persons aged under 18 years may only participate in our courses with the permission of the management of the school.
*The allocation of students among the different levels is the responsibility of the Head of Studies, and shall be made by means of an oral and written test on the first day of the course. Classes start on the same day after the test.
*CHINESETOWN is not responsible for accidents and/or illness of a student during the course.
Accommodation
*Accommodation is reserved from the Sunday prior to the course until the Saturday following the termination of your course. In other words, you move in to the accommodation on a Sunday, and move out on a Saturday. If you need extra nights' stay or extension, please consult us.
*All extensions, cancellations or changes in accommodation must be approved by the school and all accommodation charges must be paid to CHINESETOWN.
*Students are responsible for any and all damages they cause and must directly compensate the owner of the property involved.
