date:2007-04-26

On April 25 2007, ChineseTown organized students to taste the Longji tea and play Chinese Majiang at a tea house.

The Longji tea had been a tribute of the Qing Dynasty, and has a special flavor. Tasting the tea, you will find it bitter at first, but faint and sweet soon after.

Majong (Mah Jong) is a gambler's game of Chinese origin usually played by four persons with tiles resembling dominoes and bearing various designs, which are drawn and discarded until one player wins with a hand of four combinations of three tiles each and a pair of matching tiles.
